Russian Recklessness Suggests Putin Learned Wrong Lessons In Past Military Disasters
Ali Velshi looks back at how Russia compensated for poor military strategy in its war with Chechnya with brutality and destruction, ultimately allowing Vladimir Putin to appoint a loyal puppet leader in Chechnya after years of devastating war.
The best news we could hear about Putin is that he has been Putin the ground with a stake through his heart alongside his grandfather Ras.
Excellent reporting and analogy with the Chechen war, seems Russia is taking the same lame approach and trying to overthrow Zelensky to install a puppet.
Well watching the Russians in action, I am totally amazed how bad they are. Yesterday I seen a video were Ukraine's capture a hill and the vehicles were covered with scrub. They don't even have basic camouflage.
The difference is that Russia's economy was on the upswing in the early 2000s and now it's on the downswing. Along with advanced American arms in Ukrainian hands.
You know what the difference between Soviet Union and today’s Russia?!
Soviet Union had talent and intelligence of remaining 14 republic/countries, at their disposal , and no one was allowed to leave the country! Ask anyone who served in Soviet Army which nationality was most of the warrant officers (in charge of storage and maintenance), who was most of the Sargents and what nationality was the most of the officers in that army!
Today’s Russia have at their disposal whatever is left on their territory. And because of abhorrent political and moral environment in that country - anyone who has half a brain, tries to leave that country as hard and as soon as possible!
