Russia - Ukraine War: Moscow Prepares for New Attack
In the current context of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Zaman is witnessing Russia's retreat in several directions.
First, in the aftermath of March 10, Ukraine was able to partially break the siege around Kyiv, mainly from the east and west. Fighting continues in Kharkov, but the situation is not in favor of Ukraine.
Second: Ukraine was able to create a new front in the windows of Kherson and Mariupol, that is, to push back the Russian army, but the center of Kherson and Mariupol is still under Russian control.
Russia does not want to lose Mariupol, it is strengthening here by mobilizing its resources, because Mariupol means access to the Sea of Azov, and Russia intends to get rid of Ukraine from this sea.
As for Kherson, Ukrainian forces are fighting to prevent Russia from deploying additional forces from the sea.
An occupation route has also been opened from Sumy to Kiev, and this territory of Ukraine is under siege on all four sides.
In general, Russia has seized the main territories of northeastern, eastern and southeastern Ukraine and created an occupation triangle.
Now the Russian leadership wants to leave Ukraine with a sense of strategic pride. In this regard, we can shed light on two versions:
1. It is possible that Russia has entered into a military-strategic peace to complete its troops, to compensate for the number of casualties, and is preparing for a new attack on Kiev.
There are alarming reports that Russia will resume its siege of Kiev from the west, but it is questionable whether Russia will be able to join forces.
2. Russia can be satisfied with the territories in its hands and annex them. Therefore, Russia has calculated the strength of Ukraine's resistance, at least with the current map of aggression.
The two versions have a painful result, which threatens the final partition of Ukraine.
