East Ukraine Focus of New Russian Assaults
With Russian hopes for storming Kyiv and other major cities in northern Ukraine dashed by stiff resistance, Moscow has refocused its efforts on the country’s east. British military intelligence said on Wednesday that Russia's appointment of Army General Alexander Dvornikov as commander of the Ukraine war could mean the country is trying to centralize command and control. The 60-year-old Dvornikov is one of Russia's most experienced officers, and has led the country's campaign in Syria. In 2016, Putin awarded him the Hero of Russia medal, and named him the chief of the Southern Military District, commanding units in southwestern Russia near the Ukrainian border.
So worry. Ukraine will remain disadvantage in this war as long as they are the defenders. In terms of manpower, resources, they sure lagging behind their offender. Wish they cld afford to strike a deep blow to Russia or attack Crimea to break Russia momentum. 😖

Pour arms, tons of them into Moldova! The have almost 3 borders with Ukraine and would give them shorter supply lines to Western and Central Ukraine, while causing longer supply lines for Russia in Odesa and the west (supply lines are russian weaknesses). Also the Moldovans will take care of transinstria.
If only we knew Russia the goals for the Special Military Operation, because the west is giving falls hope to Ukraine that they will defeat Russia, which with all honesty will never happen, their cities are falling one by one !!
I am just amazed at the lack of better help beyond Javelins and stingers to help Ukraine. The USA, Poland, and Germany needs to get involved in a stronger way. Standing on the sidelines watching this genocide is a crime in itself.
Mariupol is still fighting right now and I hope they can hold up until their reinforcements can help them. But first they need to stop the Russians from trying to surround the their warriors in Izium right now. Then after they should focus their units on Mariupol(to help their country men).
