Biden Asks Congress for $33 Billion in New Ukraine Aid
President Biden submitted a proposal to Congress asking for $33 billion in additional funding to help Ukraine in its fight against Russia. I’m all for helping other people when they need it and obviously the Ukraine needs it, but when we can’t afford to take care of our own people we have no business giving our taxpayer money to somebody else especially if the roles were reversed they would not be doing it for us.
I’m all for Supporting Ukraine but after a certain point there has to be a limit. What about our people. Our homeless veterans, children living in poverty, our education system, our unjust justice system. We can quickly give out to others but are reluctant to help our own.
It’s weird he campaigned on student debt forgiveness but it has yet to happen. Then recently said he’s considering it for $50,000 and less. But has no problem sending money to another country without hesitation. Smh. All Politicians are a joke.
“Who’s going to pay for it?” Is what they always ask when the people ask for health care or rent aid or food assistance or child care etc. Funny how they never ask that question when they bail out the airlines because of a pandemic or for war 😂 land of the free? Please lol
